Princess Tutu - 'Silly Duck'

Another new piece from my PRINCESS TUTU fanart collection.

It is me again as my alter-princess tutu- ego, "Elphie," along with Duck.

Here's a little background story:

Elphie sat quietly alone in the art room, staring at a blank easel. Her soft brown eyes seemed unwavering, no inspiration laid within them. Then, Elphie felt a soft nudge at her feet. She looked down to see ... a yellow duck.

"Oh," she replied, "your Senior Fakir's little duck aren't you? What are you doing here?" she asked, picking up the small duck and placing her on the table beside her easel. "Are you looking for inspiration in here? Hm. I'm afraid you won't find it." she softly said, folding her hands in her lap. She looked back at the easel. "My art used to make me so happy. But ... I dunno ... I've been seeing Senior Fakir so ... so unhappy as of late, that it seems my inspiration to draw has left with that unhappiness." Elphie sighed, as she stared down.

Duck simply looked at her, her blue eyes wavering, feeling Elphie's sadness.

Miss Elphie ... Duck thought to herself. What can I do to help her? I'm just a duck. If I were Princess Tutu .. then ... Duck thought, but then remembered. She may be a duck ....

... but she can still dance.

Elphie looked up in surprise, to see the small yellow duck, dance as if she were a ballerina before her. Elphie giggled and thought, how beautiful this small creature looked, and yet she held her own gracefulness. Elphie giggled again and found herself grabbing hold of her pencil. She began drawing the little duck, her first real inspiration in quite awhile.

Little known to either of them, Fakir watched them both from the door of the art room ... smiling sweetly as he watched.

I'm happy with this piece, although I got a bit lazy on it once I colored the major things. Its hanging space really ... sorry! lol. The easel has no real table and there's just white space, but I hate drawing backgrounds .... lol. I'll get better!
